Under the auspices of Uncle Saichi Kawahara of the Kapalakiko Hawaiian Band, the members of Awawa bring to the Hâlau the beautiful melody of the islands.  Named by their esteemed teacher, Awawa Hawaiian Band consists of haumana from the Hâlau and `ohana.  Passion in their playing emulates their aloha for the mele.
